The RFID-MB will recognize when mail has been delivered and send a message via an app to notify the mail recipient. The intended audience is for anyone with a PO box or a mailbox that requires a key to enter. In addition, an RFID key will be used as key handle the mailbox.

 

The purpose of the RFID-MB is to notify mail recipient of new mail without having to physically check the mailbox mostly in an apartment complex where there is the uncertainty of if there is mail or not. One of the purposes is also to enable the mailbox with and RFID sensor for the opening.

 

This product will be affected by the knowledge and information available to create an application that can interface with messages sent from the sensor. The microcontroller used will have to be able to connect to the internet and be able to read when the door has been open and by whom. The team must work together and devote time to accomplish the project on time.
